You'll spend 4 days photographing the Isle of Mull, the Island of Iona and it's medieval abbey just off the Ross of Mull coast. Highlights include the Ross of Mull, Salen Boats, and the wild and rugged coastline of this beautiful island, one of my favourites. A boat trip out to Fingal's cave on Staffa will also be part of the itinerary. Three course dinner bed and breakfast is included in this section at the wonderful Western Isles Hotel overlooking the colourful scenic harbour in Tobermory.Inverary
Once we leave Mull by Calmac ferry we'll head down to the small town of Inveraray which is the seat of the Campbell Clan on the shores of Loch Fyne, Scotland's longest sea loch. We'll explore this scenic location before completing the day with a dusk shoot of the evocative ruin of Kilchurn castle with a stunning setting on Loch Awe.Isle of Arran
From Inverary we'll make or way down the shore of Loch Lommond to Adrossan (2hrs) to catch the MV Caledonia to Brodick on Arran, our base for the next 4 days. Referred to as Scotland in miniature, highlights include tumbling cascades in North Glen Sannox, boulder strewn shoreline at Pirate bay, Corrie coast line, Lochranza castle, vistas around the highest peak Goatfell and breathtalking Glen Rosa. Accommodation will be in at the wonderful Blackwaterfoot Lodge with ensuite single occupancy rooms and includes delicious evening meal.Includes all ferries and boat trip to Fingals Cave on Staffa. Starts in Inverness around 11am in Inverness on the 22nd. Pick up from your accommodation. Ends in Glasgow around 6pm on the 30th. You will need to arrange accommodation in Glasgow where you will be dropped off. Join me for a drink and a bite to eat in the city if you can. Book online today.
